Look, I don't really care if you make available to folks; I might even concede some of the OSes are in a weird spot when it comes to the future of Wayland support.

BUT there is literally no compelling hardware/usability case for needing right now? is still being developed.

ALL your doing by switching default installs of GhostBSD to XLibre is telegraphing your values.

AND XLibre is an explicitly a racist, anti-DEI project lead by a vaccine denier. Their rejection of DEI is in the Github project readme.

This would cause me to drop GhostBSD if I was running it.

EDIT: Anyone who replies singing the praises of XLibre, or with a racist doublespeak definition of DEI making it sound unethical, will be blocked. I just dont have the energy today folks.

I haven't obsessed this much with my desktop since I was .. much younger. Trying to make it functional and purrty on 30 year old hardware is challenging but fun. Thanks to and the fact that most old X and tools are still around and do all the things they always did - and haven't bloated much in those 30 years - helps a lot.

I'll take Wayland when it comes my way without me having to lift a finger, but until then I'm glad the X Window System is still around. Keeps this old hardware useful.
